Creative Enrichment Teacher (Grades K-2)
We’re looking for a “Little Kid Specialist” for our team of educators! If you love young children ages 5-7 and want to earn some extra cash, we may have just the job for you.
As a part-time Creative Enrichment Teacher, you’ll help kids discover the joy of the performing arts as you teach before- or after-school programs onsite at elementary schools in the Louisville area for grades K-2. No theatre experience is necessary. If you have experience with young children, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to get creative with kids!
Drama Fun Clubs meet once a week for eight weeks during each semester (fall and spring). They always culminate in the performance of a short play, which is presented primarily in pantomimed (acting without words). Instructors teach 2-5 clubs each week. We provide an in-depth orientation, lesson plans, props, and all of the other resources you need to successfully put on a play with children. You provide the energy, talent, and enthusiasm that will empower your students to succeed.
Drama by George is a Louisville-based educational theatre provider. We grow students with compassion and character through the power of stories. Since 2007, we’ve presented live performances, theatre workshops, summer camps, and after-school drama clubs to more than 115,000 students in the Kentuckiana region.

- You have reliable transportation, including the capability to transport large boxes of props to schools.
- You are available during the after-school hours of 2:00-6:30 PM on 2-5 days per week, Monday-Friday, during the upcoming academic semester.
