There's no better way to incorporate social emotional learning into your classroom than by playing games. In this very interactive session, we'll introduce you to educational activities inspired by the world of theatre that you can use to discuss topics like bullying prevention, peer pressure, and empathy with school-age students. It's easy for kids to tune out a lecture, but not so easy to tune out a game or a session of role-playing. Your students will love the opportunity for experiential learning. You'll love knowing that you're creating a positive school climate where kids treat each other with respect. This workshop is also available in 60- and 90-minute versions that cover less games, but still give educators a hands-on toolkit for social emotional learning.
