Performances

We’ve performed The Grit Game Show, an interactive assembly about achievement and resilience, for 22,500 students in 127 performances. 97% of teachers would recommend us to a colleague.

Stop Bullies is a bullying prevention talk that draws on the real-life experiences of a bullying survivor to impact teens. Speaker George Halitzka has presented the program 113 times times for 13,000 students. In a student survey, 94% of middle schoolers rated the presentation as “excellent” or “good.”

Stories Alive! is a perennial favorite that brings classic and contemporary tales to life in a high-energy, interactive storytelling experience. We’ve given 235 performances (more than any other Drama by George program) for 14,000 students. 100% of educators would recommend the show!

After School, Classroom, and Summer Programs

Our after-school drama clubs have empowered over 3300 students to rehearse and perform a short play in just 8 weekly sessions! We’ve produced a total of 249 student performances at 33 schools in Jefferson (KY), Bullitt (KY), Oldham (KY), and Clark (IN) counties. According to a parent survey, 93% of parents feel that their children both enjoyed and benefited from drama club.

Classroom workshops bring hands-on learning experiences to any group of students from preschoolers through grade 12! We’ve delighted more than 6800 students with 843 workshops. Favorites include Comedy Improv 101 for middle and high schoolers, Inside Out for the intermediate grades, and The Little Red Chickens for primary students.

Our summer camps have given more than 1000 students the experience of putting on a fully-staged play in just a week or two. In addition to offering tuition-based camps, we frequently partner with schools and organizations to provide summer experiences that are offered at no cost to the participants.

Play Scripts

Our original play scripts have been performed over 900 times by theatres, schools, and organizations around the world, from Canada to China!

Past Performances

From 2012-15, we offered Be the Hero, a touring performance for elementary schools. Our costumed superheroes challenged 13,000 students in 71 performances to stop bullying. 97% of teachers said the program complimented their curriculum, and 94% would recommend it to fellow educators.

From 2014-16, Kylie for President was our flagship touring play. We empowered 10,000 students in 45 performances to make wise choices. 100% of teachers said that our play complimented their curriculum, and 95% would recommend the program to fellow educators.

From 2019-2024 (with a short break for COVID), B.B. Wolfe Gets Schooled impacted 16,000 students in 76 performances. Our big, bad wolf taught kids about empathy and bullying prevention. 100% of teachers said the play provided valuable content, and 92% would recommend it to a colleague.
